Everett, Ambrose Sprague

soldier, physician, surgeon, was born May 17, 1841, in West Almond, N. Y. He served as a union soldier during the civil war; was first lieutenant of company B, one hundred and eighth regiment, New York state volunteers; and captain of company Gof the same regiment. He was acting inspector-general of the second brigade, third division of the second army corps.

He has attained distinction as one of the leading physicians and surgeons of the United States, and has a large practice in Denver, Colo. He has been professor of surgical anatomy; president of the Western Academy of Homœopathy; is a member of the leading medical bodies; and has been surgeon-general of the Grand Army of the Republic and various fraternal orders.
