Edholm, Mary G. Charlton
journalist, evangelist, author, was born Oct. 28, 1854, in Freeport, Ill. For several years she was a reporter on the Oakland and San Francisco papers. She had previously traveled extensively and done special work for the papers of eastern cities; and also for a number of magazines. For years she was the press superintendent of the World's Woman's Christian Temperance union, and is now superintendent of the Florence Crittenten missions, and author of Traffic in Girls, and Florence Crittenten Missions.
She has lectured extensively on Social Purity; is a most zealous and enthusiastic worker, and has dedicated her life to the great cause.
