Crump, Rousseau O
manufacturer, congressman, was born May 20, 1843, in Pittsford, N. Y. In 1884 the corporation of the Crump Manufacturing company was formed by him.
He is a member of the Wenona Lodge, Blanchard Chapter, Bay City Commandery, the Michigan Sovereign Consistory of Detroit, and Moslem Temple; and also a member of the Ancient Order of United Workmen, Royal Arcanum, and Knights of Pythias.
He cast his first vote for Lincoln; has served West Bay City as alderman for four years, and in the spring of 1892 was nominated and elected mayor of West Bay City and was re-elected in 1894. He was elected to the fifty-fourth and fiftyfifth congresses as a republican.
