Colerick, Walpole G

lawyer, member of congress, was born Aug. 1, 1845, in Fort Wayne, Ind. He received his education in the public schools of his native city; and has attained success as one of the foremost lawyers of Indiana.

He served with distinction as a member of the house of representatives of the United States in the forty-sixth and forty-seventh gresses in 1879-83. con- In 1883 he became one of the supreme court commissioners of the state of Indiana, and served until the expiration of the commission by limitation of law creating the court.
