Bradshaw, George S

lawyer, legislator, jurist, was born April 5, 1856, in Alamance county, N. C. He received a thorough education, and soon attained prominence as an eminent lawyer in his native state at Greensboro. During 1881- 83 he served with distinction as a member of the North Carolina state legislature; was clerk of the superior court; and during 1883-94 was probate judge.

He has taken an active part in the public affairs of his city, county and state; is trustee of the Trinity college of North Carolina, and also of the university of North Carolina. He is also a successful editor, and has contributed extensively to periodical literature.
