Bradley, William Czar

lawyer, legislator, congressman, was born March 23, 1782, in Westminster, Vt. In 1806 and 1807 he was a representative in the state legislature; in 1812, a member of the state council; a representative in congress from 1813 to 1815; again in congress from 1823 to 1827; in 1850 again in the state legislature; in 1856 a presidential elector; and in 1857 a member of the state constitutional convention. In 1858 he took formal leave of the bar, at which he had practiced for fifty-four years. He died March 3, 1867, in Westminster, Vt.
