Boone, Andrew R

lawyer, jurist, legislator, congressman, was born April 4, 1831, in Davidson county, Tenn. In 1854 he was elected a county judge for four years; and was re-elected, but resigned. In 1861 he was elected to the legislature, but resigned and returned home, where he remained until the close of the war; in 1868 he was elected judge of the first district of Kentucky, holding the position for six years; and was elected a representative from Te nessee to the forty-fourth and forty-fifth congresses.
