Bolton, James
physician, surgeon, was born June 5, 1812, in Savannah, Ga.
In 1855 he opened a private hospital in Richmond, Va.; was president of the Virginia State Medical society; and published many articles on subjects pertaining to surgery and medicine. He died May 15, 1869.
BOLTON, MRS. SARAH KNOWLES, author, was born Sept. 15, 1841, in Farmington, Conn. She is a miscellaneous writer of Cleveland whose successive collections of biographical sketches have been extremely popular.
