Aughey, John H

educator, clergyman, college president, was born May 8, 1828, in New Hartford, N. Y. He graduated from the Franklin college, Ohio, and for nearly half a century has been a minister of the gospel. For many years he was principal of the high school of Winchester, Ky.; has served as president of the Female college, Miss.; and is now pastor of the First Presbyterian church of Mulhall, O. T. He is the author of two works entitled Tupeh, and Spiritual Gems. on
