Anderson, Abel
clergyman, educator, was born Dec. 6, 1847, in Albion, Wis. He graduated from the Luther college, university of Wisconsin, and from the Concordia theological seminary of St. Louis, Mo.
During 1874-87 he was pastor of the Lutheran church in Muskegon, Mich., then at Appleton, Minn.; and since 1888 at Montevideo, Minn. Since the latter date he has also filled the chair of ancient and modern languages in the Windom institute. He was school inspector for a series of years, and in 1884 was a delegate from Michigan to the republican national convention.
