Anders, T. J
lawyer, jurist, was born April 4, 1838, near Republic, Ohio. He removed to Montana, and later to Walla Walla, opening a law office at the latter town in 1871. He was elected city attorney, and also five times elected prosecuting attorney for that district. Judge Anders has been connected with much of the important litigation of Washington, and was the unanimous choice of his brother judges for the first chief justice of the supreme court of Washington. In 1892 he was re-elected for six years.
