Yeaman, George H

lawyer, jurist, congressman, author, was born Nov. 1, 1829, in Hardin county, Ky. In 1854 he was elected judge of Davies county, Ky.

In 1861 he was elected to the legislature of Kentucky. He was a representative from Kentucky to the thirty-seventh congress and was re-elected to the thirty-eighth congress, serving on the same committee.

In 1865 he was appointed minister resident to Denmark. He practices law in New York city; and is the author of The Study of Government.
