Wood, John J

lawyer, was born Feb. 13, 1859, in Neshkoro, Wis. He is one of the foremost lawyers of Wisconsin at Berlin; has been city attorney, supervisor and school commissioner, and served with distinction as mayor of his city. In 1896 he was a delegate from the sixth congressional district of Wisconsin to the democratic national convention at Chicago. He takes an active part in the public affairs of his city, county and state, and is a member of several fraternal orders.
