Wood, Charles Bradley

educator, was born Aug. 29, 1843, in Fulton county, Ohio. He graduated from the Ohio Wesleyan university, and received the degrees of A. B. and A. M. For two years he taught mathematics in West Farmington, Ohio; then in Willoughby.

He subsequently was principal of public schools at Sewickley, Pa.; professor of mathematics in the Pittsburg High school for eleven years; and for sixteen years has been principal of the Pittsburg High school. He has been actively identified with building and loan associations for fifteen years, and has contributed extensively to current literature on educational topics.
