Williams, Henry W
lawyer, jurist, was born July 30, 1830, in Susquehanna county, Pa. In 1854 he was admitted to the bar; and in 1865 was appointed additional law judge of the fourth judicial district of Pennsylvania, receiving the re-election to that office in November of the same year; and in 1870 was elected president judge. In 1875 he was appointed member of the coma mission to revise the constitution of the state. In 1880 he was re-elected president judge; and in 1887 was elected to the supreme court of Pennsylvania for a term of twenty-one years.
