Williams, George Fred

lawyer, journalist, congressman, was born July 10, 1852, in Dedham, Mass. In 1878 he edited Williams' Citations of Massachusetts Cases; and from 1880 to 1887 edited volumes ten to seventeen of the Annual Digest of the United States. He was elected to the Massachusetts legislature in 1889; and was elected to the fifty-second congress as a democrat. WILLIAMS, GEORGE HENDERSON, educator, was born June 9, 1861, in Fayetteville, N. C. He has attained success in educational work; and is now principal of the Fayetteville State Normal school, N. C.
