Widener, Howard H

educator, lawyer, public official, was born May 6, 1860, in Chili, N. Y. In 1879 he graduated from the Chili seminary, and for four years was engaged in educational work.

In 1885 he was admitted to the bar and has attained prominence as an able lawyer at Rochester, N. Y. For ten years he has been first assistant district attorney of Monroe county and has represented the people in many important criminal cases on trial and in the higher courts. He practices generally in all the state courts. He has always taken an active interest in politics, and is connected with various associations and business enterprises.
