VOGELGESANG, JACOB GEORGE, lawyer, legislator, jurist, was born April 3, 1853, near Canton, Ohio. He has held several public positions in Tazewell county, Ill.; and is now a successful lawyer of Russell, Kan. He has been judge of the probate court for five terms; and served with distinction as a representative in the Kansas state legislature.
