Souvielle, Mathieu
physician, surgeon, scientist, was born in 1851 in Paris, France. He received his education in Paris and Berlin.
For many years he was a surgeon in the French army, and he was thanked by the French government for his services during the Prussian war.
He then became demonstrator a of anatomy in London, England. He is now vice-president of large syndicate for a the mining and manufacture of aluminum, with headquarters at Jacksonville, Fla. He speaks six languages; and is very greatly interested in literary work, having contributed a number of articles to medical and scientific journals.
