Ray, George W
soldier, lawyer, congressman, was born Feb. 3, 1844, in Otselic, N. Y. He received his education at the Norwich academy, New York; and has attained eminence as one of the leading lawyers of the east at Norwich.
He served with distinction in congress, in the forty-eighth, fifty second, fiftythird, fifty - fourth, and fifty-fifth congresses. He is a member of the republican state committee; chairman of the republican county committee; and a member of the board of education of Norwich, N. Y.
