Randolph, Joseph
FITZ, lawyer, jurist, congressman, was born in 1803 in New Jersey. He settled at Monmouth Court House, N. J., and was appointed state's attorney for the county. He was a representative in congress from 1837 to 1843. In 1844 he was a member of the convention which framed the state constitution. In 1845 he was appointed a judge of the supreme court of New Jersey for a term of seven years. He was a member of the peace congress of 1861.
