Price, George Edmund

lawyer, legislator, was born Nov. 9, 1848, in Moorefield, W. Va. He is a prominent lawyer of Charleston, W. Va. During 1883-90 he was a state senator of the West Virginia legislature, and in 1885-87 was president of that body.

PRICE, GEORGE WASHINGTON FER- GUS, educator, was born Sept. 24, 1830, in Butler county, Ala. In 1872 he became president of the Methodist Female college at Huntsville, Ala., resigning in 1880, when he removed to Nashville, Tenn., and established there the Nashville College for Young Ladies.
