clergyman, author, was born in 1802 in Annapolis, Md. He was a once prominent. Roman catholic clergyman of Brooklyn; and the author of History of the Church to the Reformation; The Acts of the Apostles in Blank Verse; Father Rowland; Indian Cottage, a Unitarian Story; The Pleasures of Religion, and Other Poems; Horæ Vagabundæ; Alethia; Zenosius; Letters to Ada; Lives of St. Ignatius and His First Companions; Notes on a Protestant Catechism; and Christianity and the Church. He died May 26, 1866, in Brooklyn, N. Y.
