Page, Charles Harrison

soldier, lawyer, state senator, congressman, was born July 19, 1843, in Gloucester, R. I.

In 1872 he was admitted to the Rhode Island bar, and has practiced his profession since in Providence. He was elected to the state house of representatives in 1872 and 1873 from his native place; and in 1874 was elected to the state senate, and re-elected in 1875, 1884, 1885, and 1890.

He was elected to the fifty-second congress; and was re-elected to the fiftythird congress at a special election.
