Osborn, Henry Stafford

clergyman, educator, author, was born Aug. 17, 1823, in Philadelphia. He is a presbyterian clergyman and educator, and professor in Miami university, Ohio, in 1871-73. He is the author of Palestine Past and Present; Fruits and Flowers of the Holy Land; Scientific Metallurgy of Iron and Steel in the United States; Manual of Bible Geography; Ancient Egypt in the Light of Recent Discoveries; Little Pilgrims in the Holy Land; New Descriptive Geography of Palestine; The Prospector's Field Book and Guide; and A Practical Manual of Minerals, Mines and Mining.
