Murdock, Samuel A

soldier, lawyer, was born Jan. 12, 1848, in Mt. Holly, N. J. During the civil war he was a private soldier in company F, eleventh regiment Illinois volunteer cavalry, and was one of the youngest men in that regiment.

He is a prominent lawyer of Havana, Ill.; has been city attorney for four terms; and has filled various public positions of honor in his city, county and state. MURFREE, FANNY NOAILLES DICK- INSON, author. She is the author of Felicia, a novel.
