Minick, John B
journalist, was born in 1836 in Lancaster county, Pa. In 1866 he moved to Michigan, engaged in prietors of the Marquette Mining Journal. railroading , and became one of the pro- In 1872 he moved to Washington, D. C.; was private secretary to the postmastergeneral during 1880-88; and was engaged meanwhile in the publishing and printing business.
He established and published The National Weekly, The People's Journal, and other periodicals. Since 1893 he has been identified with some of the largest commercial enterprises of Philadelphia, Pa., which city is now his home.
