MCVICKAR, WILLIAM AUGUSTUS, clergyman, author, was born April 24, 1827, in New York city. He was an episcopal clergyman who became rector of Christ church, New York city, in 1876. He was was the author of Life of Rev. John Mc- Vickar; and City Missions. He died in 1877.
