LOWELL, MRS. ANNA CABOT [JACK- SON], was born in 1819 in Boston, Mass.

She is the author of Theory of Teaching; Edward's First Lessons in Grammar and Geometry; Outlines of Astronomy; Letters to Madame Pulksky; Seed Grains for Thought; and several compilations. She died Jan. 7, 1874, in Cambridge, Mass.
