Lewis, Isaac Ives
merchant, banker, legislator, was born Feb. 7, 1825, in Meriden, Conn. During 1854-71 he was successful merchant and real estate dealer of Minneapolis, Minn.; and during 1871-90 was superintendent of mines in Montana and Idaho. In 1867- 68 he was a member of the Minnesota house of representatives. In 1875-76 and again in 1877-78 he served with distinction as a member of the legislative council of Montana at Helena. He is now a successful merchant and banker at Ketchum, Idaho; and president of the First National bank of that city, which was organized in 1884.
