Kinney, Coates
lawyer, author, poet, was born Nov. 24, 1826, in Penn Yan, N. Y. He is an Ohio lawyer and journalist, and the author of Keuka, and Other Poems; and Lyrics of the Real and Ideal.
The Rain Upon the Roof is his most familiar poem.
KINNEY, MRS. ELIZABETH CLE- MENTINE [DODGE] [STEDMAN], author, poet, was born Dec. 18, 1810, in New York city. She was a poet of Newark, N. J., but resident in Italy in 1850-65, and the author of Felicita; Poems; Bianca Capello: a Tragedy. She died Nov. 19, 1889, in Summit, N. J.
