King, Frank Loui

musician, composer, was born Dec. 17, 18-, in England. He was dean of the first conservatory of music in California.

He is the founder of the King Conservatory of Music of San Jose, Cal., where he has been most successful teacher of the pianoforte for many years. He has made many pianists of the first order; and is a composer and director of the higha est class. The advancement of music as an art, and the dissemination of all that is best and refining in music, has ever been attributed to his influence in Santa Clara county, and from there extending more or less all over the state of California.
