Hopwood, Robert F

lawyer, business man, was born July 24, 1856, in Uniontown, Pa. He received a thorough education, has taught school and in 1879 was admitted to the bar. He has since attained prominence as a successful lawyer in his native city; has twice received the nomination for district attorney, and in 1894 was endorsed for congress. He is interested in the public schools; president of the School Directors' association of Fayette County, and a trustee of Allegheny college of Meadville, Pa. He is interested in a number of business enterprises at home and in the state of West Virginia.
