Holt, Homer A

lawyer, legislator, jurist, was born April 27, 1831, in Par- , W. Va. He received his education at the Rector college, and at the university of Virginia. In 1872 he was a member of the constitutional convention of West Virginia. In 1871 he became circuit judge of the Greenbrier circuit, which position he filled with distinction for sixteen years. In 1890 ne became president judge of the supreme court of appeals of West Virginia, his term ending on Jan. 1, 1897.
