Hibbard, Harry

state senator, congressman, was born June 1, 1816, in Con- 1816, in Concord, N. H. He was assistant clerk of the New Hampshire house of representatives in 1839; clerk of the same from 1840 to 1843; and speaker of the house in 1844 and 1845; in the state senate from 1846 to 1849; officiated two years as president.

He was a representative in congress from New Hampshire from 1849 to 1855. He died July 27, 1872, in Somersville .
