Haskell, Llewellyn Frost
soldier, was born Oct. 8, 1842. He enlisted in the fourteenth New York regiment, rose to the rank of captain, and at the close of the war was brevetted brigadiergeneral of volunteers. He then became associated with his father in the development of Llewellyn park, but in 1877 removed to San Francisco, Cal. HASKELL, LLEWELLYN SOLOMON, merchant, was born Jan. 4, 1815, in Gloucester, Maine. In 1857 he began to lay out Llewellyn park, and about 1859 retired from business to give his whole time to its improvement. He died May 31, 1872, in Santa Barbara, Cal.
