Hunke, Albert Edward
educator, author, was born Jan. 23, 1854, in Heidelberg, Germany. In 1869 he emigrated to America; attended the Indiana State Normal school of Terre Haute, and became a professor in that institution; and subsequently superintendent of city schools of Vincennes, Ind. He has delivered many lectures before teachers' institutes; and was the president of the Southern Indiana Teachers' association.
He is the author of School Readings, and other works.
HUNNEWELL, JAMES FROTHING- HAM, author, was born July 3, 1832, in Charlestown, Mass. He is a resident of Charlestown, Mass. He is the author of Bibliography of the Hawaiian Islands; The Lands of Scott; The Historical Monuments of France; The Imperial Island; England's Chronicle in Stone; Bibliography of Charlestown and Bunker Hill; and A Century of Town Life, a History of Charlestown.
