Hall, Lawrence W

lawyer, jurist, congressman, was born in 1819 in Lake county, Ohio. He was elected judge of the court of common pleas, which position he held until 1856. He was elected a representative from Ohio to the thirty-fifth congress. He died Jan. 26, 1863, in Ohio.

HALL, MRS. LOUISA JANE PARK, author, poet, was born Feb. 7, 1802, in Newburyport , Mass. She was a writer of Providence , and the author of Miriam, a dramatic poem; Joanna of Naples, a tale; and Life of Elizabeth Carter. She died in 1892.
