Gordon, William
lawyer, was born Dec. 15, 1862, near Oak Harbor, Ohio. He received the rudiments of his education in the public schools of his native city; attended the Toledo Business college, and graduated from the university of Michigan in 1891. He had subsequently taught school. In 1894 he was elected prosecuting attorney of his county; was appointed a member of the board of county school examiners, and in 1895 removed to Port Clinton, the county seat. In 1896 he was elected a delegate to the democratic national convention; and has taken an active part in the public affairs of his county and state.
