Fuller, Levi Knight

manufacturer, governor, was born Feb. 24, 1841, in Westmoreland, N. H. He organized in 1874, and until inaugurated governor, commanded the Fuller light battery of the Vermont National guard. He has held various town and village offices, elected to state senate in 1880, and lieutenant-governor of the state in 1886.

He was president of trustees at the Vermont academy at Saxton's River, Vt., an educational institution he had largely supported. He was nominated for governor of Vermont at the republican state convention held at Burlington, Vt., June 22, 1892, and inaugurated Oct. 6, 1892.
