Demby, Edward Thomas

educator, lecturer, clergyman, was born in 1869 in Wilmington, Del. He received the rudiments of his education in the city schools of Wilmington, and subsequently attended the Lincoln university of Pennsylvania, the Howard university of Washington, D. C., and the Wilberforce university of Ohio. He has been a successful professor of Hebrew, Greek and French; has been dean of a theological college; and is at present head master of St. Paul's academy of Mason, Tenn. He has traveled extensively; is a well-known lecturer, and the author of several works.
