Coggeshall, Henry J

lawyer, state senator, was born April 28, 1845, in Waterville, N. Y. He was admitted to the bar in 1866; in 1872 was elected state legislator; and in 1883 state senator.

COGGESHALL, WILLIAM TURNER, journalist, author, was born in 1824, in Pennsylvania. He was a journalist of Cincinnati, whose principal writings include Signs of the Times, a work on spirit rappings; Home Hits and Hints; and Stories of Frontier Adventure. He died Aug. 2, 1867, in Ecuador, where he was serving as United States minister.
