Clark, James (Farmer stockman was born Nov)

farmer, stockman, was born Nov. 20, 1838, near Springfield, Ohio. For over a quarter of a century continuously he has been township treasurer; and for ten years a member of the county board of agriculture. He has been successful breeder of trotting horses, some of which have sold as high as twenty thousand dollars each; and he bred and sold the fastest a yearling trotter in the world to Frank Rockefeller, vice-president of the Standard Oil company. He resides in New Moorefield, Ohio.
