Cason, Thomas J
lawyer, jurist, state senator, congressman, was born Sept. 13, 1828, in Union county, Ind. From 1861-64 was a member of the Indiana legislature; from 1864-67 was a member of the state senate; and in 1867 was appointed judge of common pleas, and re-elected to the same office for term of four years.
He was elected to the forty-third and forty-fourth cona gresses, serving on the committee on revision of laws. He still continues the practice of law at Lebanon, Ind., where he has attained a large practice.
