Cann, James Ferris

lawyer, was born Dec. 11, 1868, in Savannah, Ga. He received the rudiments of his education in the public schools of Savannah, attended the Georgia Military academy, and graduated in law from the university of Virginia. He has attained prominence as an able lawyer of his native city, where he is president of the Citizens' club, secretary of the Savannah volunteer guards, and first lieutenant of company C of that command. He is a prominent member of the Knights of Pythias and other fraternal bodies.
