Aker, William W
soldier, lawyer, legislator, was born in Darke county, Ohio.
He graduated from the Cincinnati law school and was admitted to the bar in that city in 1872, but shortly after removed to Eaton, Ohio. He served in the union army as lieutenant of company H, ninety-third Ohio volunteer infantry, and in 1897 was post commander of Calep Marker post, G. A. R., at New Paris. He was elected to the seventy-first general assembly of the Ohio state legislature as a republican; and was re-elected to the seventy-second general assembly.
