Adams, John Quincy (Descendant of the famous Adams)

a descendant of the famous Adams family of Massachusetts, was born in 1848, in Lancaster, N. H. He is a charter member of the Society of the Sons of the American Revolution, and also secretary-general of the Order of the Founders and Patriots of America.

This society embraces the early settlers of the colonies from 1.607 to 1657, with revolutionary descent thereafter. Mr. Adams was educated in the Lancaster academy, and has been a student of and writer on political subjects all his life. He was a candidate for congress in his district in 1896. He is the brother of Mrs. Flora Adams Darling, the founder-general of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
