Abbott, Edward
clergyman, author, was born July 15, 1841, in Farmington, Maine. He is an episcopal clergyman of St. James episcopal church of Cambridge, but prior to 1878 a congregational minister and editor of The Congregationalist. He is the editor of The Literary World; and the author of Dialogues of Christ; The Long Look series of juvenile tales; A Trip Eastward; Revolutionary Times; Paragraph History of the United States; and Paragraph History of the American Revolution.
ABBOTT, ELIZABETH ROBINSON, educator, was born Sept. 11, 1852. She has been eminently successful in kindergarten work; and is secretary of the Connecticut Valley Kindergarten association. She is well known as a writer and speaker, and was the chief founder of the Woman's club of Waterbury, Conn.
