Youmans, W. F
lawyer, legislator, was born March 21, 1864, in Hampton, S.
C. He received his education at the South Carolina college of Columbia. He has served with distinction as a member of the lower house of the South Carolina legislature; was the adviser of the governor during the Darlington riot. He is a successful lawyer in his native city; was for two terms a trustee of the Citadel academy of Charleston, S. C.; and was one of the originators of the dispensary.
