Wisman, James Martin

educator, college president, was born Feb. 20, 1855, in Williams county, Ohio. In 1893 he was elected president of Duquesne college, Pittsburg, Pa., which position he still holds.

WISNER, BENJAMIN BLYDENBURG, clergyman, author, was born Sept. 19, 1794, in Goshen, N. Y. In 1821-32 he was pastor of the Old South church of Boston, Mass. His publications include single sermons and memoirs; History of the Old South Church; and Moral Condition and Prospects of the Heathen. He died Feb. 9, 1835, in Boston, Mass.
